No, they're the same car, with slightly different trims based on the manufacturer, such as the stereo system(s). They're specifications, performance and even interior dimensions are virtually indistinguishable.
They're focusing they're efforts on the next GT game and it shows; old circuits and only Japanese cars for DLC with their international derivatives. The content has been lacking but the game is still fun.
200 cars is more than plenty, i bet you wouldn't even try half of them.
When the downloadable content model was introduced for this generation of consoles sometime back in '05, it was originally intended to be the answer to patches and expansions found in PC gaming. The point of it all was to add additional content post-release to expand an already complete game.
I personally very rarely purchase DLC, since I no longer play games often or long enough to warrant one; I have other things that occupy my time these days. While I can't say ...
Ooo I'm surprised somebody remembers einhander
I agree, VF is a great fighting game, and easily one of the best 3d fighters. I played from vanilla VF4 all thru VF5, when it left the states. It's a very demanding, technical game with excellent balance, but it suffers from simply not being that fun. You have to really work while playing because of the fighting system. Throw escapes, stagger recovers, buffering, single-frame inputs; it's all too much to be considered entertaining for the player.
It's addictive, but not as fun as the second. Best played with friends if you can.
Like 6 million? that's not a lot?
1080p60 would be nice, but I wouldn't expect 60 frames with every game. 1080p yes, that's likely to become the standard, but I doubt developers will want to cut their visual resources in favor of making the game run faster, especially considering 30 frames is the industry standard. 60 frames are really only required for fast input/reaction games like platformers, fighting games, racing games, etc.
I just don't feel the same way about Crysis 2 as I did the first. I felt like you're less connected to the environment in the second; it was less atmospheric. In Crysis I could sneak through a village, lethal or non-lethal, or mow it down, wall for wall. But things like destructible environments and vehicles greatly enhanced your tactical options, something that was sorely lacking in the second. A runaway jeep crashing into a building and exploding to take out the enemy has been reduc...
For me, personally, Metal Gear Solid 4.
There was just a certain aurora about that game that I haven't experienced in other games.
I don't know if that makes it important. To each their own.
Ehh...not really feelin this article too much. The author wants to categorize the Crysis series as having a similar gameplay experience, when the two main games are drastically different from each other. (with one being drastically better than the other) On top of that, he really seems to think that the Multiplayer portion of Crysis 3 will be a drastic improvement over the COD-carbon-copy MP found in Crysis 2. Crysis 3 will play like Crysis 2, with better graphics, bigger environments-but non...
wait what does this have to do with Le Mans 24hr?
You mean Tomonobu Itagaki?
why is Lair so disappointing?
haha i love it.
"Even if the engine is targeted at RTS games (I'm pretty sure their "RTS" structure is build on top of an engine) with the right tooling they could easily use ingame assets and environments to created scripted scenes. "
Did you play Starcraft II? The story was told through both CG cutscenes and with the game's engine, usually during a break in the action. ANYONE will tell you (who's played it at least) that the CG cutscenes contributed more to ...
I'm not going to say that I don't think Tekken is better than Virtua Fighter, but Sega's VF series is one of the better 3D fighters out there.
Asura's wrath did receive DLC for it's real ending, but I think the best bet for Capcom if they want to regain some respect, is to release full, completed games, and just avoid DLC altogether.
I CE of Gran Turismo 5. There was no reason for me getting it other than it having a nice booklet which had a lot of info on the history of cars and racing. It's a good coffee table-style read for when I'm just lounging, and people that come by my place and read it often find it interesting.
